McMillan, OK

I have done another heritage page with old photos from my dad. The photos required a lot of explanation so I expanded to a two page layout, then broke the journaling into columns to make it easier to read. I used Plantain Schoolbook for the title and Nifty Fifties for the embellishments. The papers are from Cosmo Cricket - Circa 1932 collection. The second from bottom background paper was torn all the way around, inked with a Tim Holtz Black Soot distress ink pad then lightly sprayed with water which blurs the edges. While still damp I turned up the edges to form a frame for the photos. I love doing this type of page and trying out different techniques.
